THE HOME BUYING PROCESS

1. THE BEGINNING:  Now that you have found one of our new home communities the next step is to pre-qualify for the appropriate loan amount.  Gregory Custom Homes has relationships with many area lenders and can help you with this process.
2. CHOOSE A HOME SITE AND FLOOR PLAN:  This is the stage where we can show you an available completed home or our inventory of floor plans.  We will work with you to create a home designed to fit your investment and life style.
3. PURCHASE AGREEMENT:  Once you have chosen a home design the fun and excitement begin.  At this point a commitment letter from your lender is needed and
   a contact completed.
4. DESIGN PHASE:  Together we will finalize building specification playbook which will
   include making exciting selections such as flooring, cabinets, fixtures, and colors.
5. PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING:  Prior to breaking ground you will meet with the project manager to review the blueprint and outline the construction process.
6. THE FUN PART:  GCH will schedule several on-site visits.  Here we update you on the progress and answer any questions.  Meetings typically happen:  1) after the foundation and 2) after framing prior to drywall.  This is a great time to review details.
7. THE HOME STRETCH:  Within 45-60 days your new home will be complete.  Now it is time to lock in an interest rate, update your financial profile and forward loan docuemnts to your sales agent or builder.
8. QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTION:  Before your final walk through GCH will conduct its own thorough inspection.  After all of the details have been completed you, your sales agent and our customer care agent will do a final walk through.  New home orientations are also done at this time.
9. THE GRAND FINALE:  Together we will meet with the closing attorney and sign the final paperwork.  You will need to bring a cashier's check and provide a photo ID.  Once the closing documents are complete you will receive a closing package and the key to your new Gregory Custom Home.
10. CALL THE MOVERS:  Now the home is all yours and the only thing left to do is enjoy!
